 The electrical system encompasses both the production, storage, and distribution of electrical energy. In this section we’ll take a look at how your battery harnesses chemical energy and transforms it into electrical energy. We’ll also see how electricity plays an integral part in starting your engine. While the battery plays a central role, it can’t do it all on its own.
