The Auto Body:

Glass


Fixed Glass Glass that is not designed to move, such as the windshield.

Laminated Glass A type of glass comprising of two sheets of glass separated by thin transparent plastic to hold the particles together if broken

Shaded Glass Glass that has a dark color band across the top.



Tempered Glass A specially manufactured glass that is 3-5 times stronger than regular glass. In addition, when broken, tempered glass tends to shatter into relatively harmless, blunt pieces

Tinted Glass Glass with color or tint added. Typically tinted glass absorbs and blocks heat, and reduces glare and brightness
