Interior lights
Provide convenience, necessity and convey warnings or information as basic as it is time to get gas. Dashboard, dome and trunk lights.
Dashboard lights
The dashboard provides a centralized control panel where all of your automobile’s gauges and warning lights are located. Gauges and warning lights are illuminated by a series of electric bulbs.
A rheostat switch allows the driver to adjust the brightness of the dash lights.
The bulbs are located on the same electrical circuit so if the dash board fuse blows or an electrical circuit fault occurs, such as a wire short or a corroded electrical connector, the entire dashboard display can fail to illuminate.
Dome light
The dome light provides interior illumination and can be activated either manually by switch or when the car doors are opened. The dome light receives an electrical current from the battery. As the current flows into the bulb filaments they begin to heat up and glow.
